Day 1: Kigali
Met upon arrival at Kigali airport. Transfer by a Vessel Africa Safari representative and to a visit of the Memorial site and Museum. This is visit reminding us of the Rwanda’s past about the ugly Genocide Massacre that occurred in 1994.  This tour is not meant for the fainthearted.

The intention of this tour is to show Rwanda’s commitment to such atrocities never RECURRING AGAIN and again showing what malicious hatred can do. Lunch at Novotel Hotel / Kigali or Similar. Later on precede drive for a one and half hour drive to Ruhengeri, the fourth largest town in Rwanda, with its stunning backdrop of three volcanic mountains. 

Dinner and overnight at Gorilla's Nest Lodge/ Similar

Day 2: Volcano National Park
0600hrs approximately wake up for our breakfast. We are then transferred for about 15 minutes drive to Kinigi – the park headquarters. After completing our park formalities we are embark the once in a life time experience of tracking mountain gorillas. 

Once you spot them you are only allowed to spend an hour watching your closest long lost cousin.  This is perhaps one of the most breathtaking wildlife experiences on earth!!! You get so close to these awesome giant primate. You stare at each other blankly not knowing who to break the long silence first. Trek and drive back to Rugehengeri.

Meals and overnight at Gorilla Nest Lodge / Similar.

Day 3: Volcano National Park 

0630hrs approximately. Wake up for our last Gorilla trek. Transfer Kinigi and for the trek. This trek will be shorter as compared to the first one.

We journey through the lush terraced farmlands of the lower volcanic slopes. The slopes steepens with each stride. Also be ware volcanic rocks underneath.

After a few minutes walk the vegetation below gets more muddy and thicker with your guide leading the pack as he clears the path. It will be long before you smell the strong unmistakable smell in the air. Or see a damage of young bamboo trees near you.

Spend an hour with them and trek down to Gorilla Nest lodge for Lunch thereafter depart by road to Kigali.  Overnight at Kigali Serena Lodge/ Similar.

Day 4: Depart
Breakfast and transferred to the International Airport for your outbound flight back home.
